About this release

I was born in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, New York & raised in the Sawyertown section of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. I am 1/4 of the Brooklyn based super group Ghetto Mentality & 1/2 of the multi-media duo and group The Office Boys NY I am a graduate from The Institute of Audio Research in NYC where I studied recording, engineering and producing with an emphasis in post-production and the business of music. Talk Heavy is a deliberate exploration of contemporary soundscapes, bridging the gap between R&B/Hip-Hop and the cinematic intensity of original film and TV music. Across one track, this project constructs an immersive atmosphere characterized by sharp, rhythmical precision and atmospheric production. Sync License (Intro) sets the definitive tone for the record, signaling a transition into a narrative that balances the technical prowess of rap with sophisticated sonic arrangements. This collection serves as a medium for auditory storytelling, designed to capture the heavy weight of lived experiences through meticulously crafted compositions. Every sound flows with intentionality, establishing a cohesive identity that navigates the intersection of lifestyle and artistic performance. By stripping away extraneous noise, Talk Heavy presents a raw and focused sonic environment that demands close attention to its technical execution and structural nuance.
