About this release

“Bonita Mamacita” is a seductive, late-night R&B record from Jay Ellis featuring Eli X, built around romance, attraction, passion, and a smooth Latin-inspired atmosphere. The song represents Jay Ellis’s signature “Smooth, Sexy & Seductive” approach to R&B while bringing in a different flavor through its Spanish/Latina-inspired concept. The goal is to create something that feels intimate and sensual but still memorable enough for listeners to sing along with. Inspiration: The record was inspired by the idea of celebrating a woman who is beautiful, sexy, sweet, loyal, and truly one of one. The “Bonita Mamacita” concept allows Jay Ellis to blend traditional slow-jam R&B energy with Latin influence, creating a record suited for nighttime listening, date nights, and R&B/Latin crossover audiences. Production & collaborators: The artwork credits Jovee Beatz as producer, with Eli X featured on the record and also credited for mixing and mastering. Jay Ellis leads the record as the primary artist, bringing his vocal style and songwriting concept, while Eli X adds another voice and dimension to the collaboration. Release strategy: The release strategy for “Bonita Mamacita” will focus on building anticipation through social media teasers, song snippets, artwork, behind-the-scenes content, and short-form videos. The campaign will target R&B and Latin-inspired audiences, followed by a coordinated release across major streaming platforms, playlist pitching, a visualizer or music video, etc
