About this release

Deadbeat is about more than calling out men who make kids and don’t step up. The record also gives a lot of praise to the women who carry the weight when a father isn’t there. It speaks on the sacrifices they make, the long days, the hard work and everything they do to raise these kids and keep things together. As a father myself, I wanted to show the difference between just having a child and actually being present, while also giving credit to the mothers who have to play both roles when somebody chooses not to show up. Deadbeat is about fatherhood, accountability, sacrifice and giving women their flowers for the work they put in every day. I plan on pushing the record with real life content, visuals and conversations that connect directly to the message of the song. 🆙️
